36 Resolutions in 366 Days

Resolutions 2012
January
1. De-clutter third floor
2. Begin A Year with Rilke
3. Begin Chez Panisse Vegetables
4. Exercise outdoors 5 times a week
5. Plan more seriously for Meatless Mondays
6. Eat dinners at the table w/ flowers and/or candles 3 times a week
7. Listen to more jazz/classical
8. Dental cleaning every 6 months
February
9. De-grease kitchen cabinets and jars
10. Read a “serious” gardening book
11. Try making ginger soda
12. Have tree guy in
13. Have a dinner party
14. Begin Mindful Movements
March
15. Learn something about soil chemistry
16. Smoke a turkey
17. Update coursework w/ ESC
18. Divide the irises
April
19. Paint fence
20. Hire handyman to replace lattice and fix mailbox
21. Dig out old mint and replace w/ new varieties
22. Have a dinner party
May
23. Attempt to grow potatoes
24. Paint pots for the garden
25. Plant a tree or two
26. Clean up the “thistle bed” and replant w/ herbs or flowers
June
27. Read 4-5 “hard” books for the summer (Look Homeward, Angel; In the Time of Our Singing, Cloud Atlas, etc.)
28. Re-Plan English 10 (or whatever else I may be teaching)
29. Do three lunches w/ old friends over the summer
